Drivers by Seagull™ Version 2017.1 Now Available
The latest version of Seagull's true Windows® printer drivers introduces an updated driver architecture that evolves with the changing Microsoft Windows printer driver environment.
The new drivers offer the same features and intuitive user interface as previous versions, plus several improvements, including:
- You can now generally install a new driver without restarting the system.
- You can now install different driver versions for different models of the same driver family with no conflicts.
- The driver enables future support for newer Windows printer driver features and technologies, such as the PrintTicket API.
- Printer driver isolation is enabled by default, which can improve the reliability of the Windows print spooler service.
For important details on these and other changes in the latest drivers, see the new white paper and the version release notes.
This latest driver version also adds support for more than 175 printers from 28 manufacturers, including Godex, Honeywell, SATO, TSC and Zebra.
Version 2017.1 is available for immediate download on the Seagull Scientific website.
